I'm so Grateful they share my JourneyUnknownnoreply@blogger.comBlogger373125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1486567237829636457.post-15561555634196368632017-08-30T13:42:00.000-07:002017-08-30T14:13:50.262-07:00a little Love ya bunches pull slider cardFunny, got this idea a while back but you know how it is, it's summer and playing with my little girl is my summer fun and keeping me hoppin'! So last night I sat down to create this idea that I have had for a little while and what I figured would be tha hardest part of said idea...the barrel.<br />
I got the drawing done, watercolored it with zigs and then fear set in...all I had to do was outline it but I was terrified I would mess it up, so I left it.<br />
<div>
So this morning comes and I am surfing as I always start my day and I see Sandy Alnock using the Love you bunches set from the Ellen Hutson United we flourish set from Lawn Fawn! Now cue the Twilight Zone music because Sandy says on her video how someone should make a barrel! So of course I had to finish off my version to share it with you all and of course Sandy too! So here it is!</div>
<div>
The outside</div>
<div>
<div>
<img border="0" class="bloggoimg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-eLXOHetJZIY/Wacm6ey7ttI/AAAAAAAADOA/QxWHA-AROuYUWc8pbZ_i27_Ohou5ZlodwCHMYCw/I/photo_283339.jpg" /></div>
<div>
When you pull on the slider</div>
<div>
<div>
<img border="0" class="bloggoimg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-u3V_qK3cHCA/Wacm6x1FfzI/AAAAAAAADOE/fP4Nk3a-DRoJkFzFn8GBaSfmaq0z0cNXwCHMYCw/I/photo_368116.jpg" /></div>
<div>
And the inside of the card (after I took the picture I stamped Love you bunches at the bottom of it as I plan to give it to my girl next week when she heads back to school.)</div>
<div>
<div>
<img border="0" class="bloggoimg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Q1tQa8-TZFg/Wacm7EpXzII/AAAAAAAADOI/ZBWgSL4u_6ALlMf8EtdT3ASWt7T_DT0QACHMYCw/I/photo_726965.jpg" /></div>
And there you have my version of a barrel of monkeys!</div>
<div>
Thanks for popping in and try to make time to get inky!<br />

I am SO in love with Distress oxide inks that I don't even have words. Just when you think Tim Holtz and Ranger couldn't get better....they knock it SMACK outta the park! Okay I could go on and on, so let's just get to the card LOL<br />
<div>
<div>
<div>
<img border="0" class="bloggoimg" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-VD8qVbMB0dM/WSYGazmX7QI/AAAAAAAADNw/GNpb7WbE9P0YOwFq72sCdNYEFp3x8B2WACHM/I/photo_749264.jpg" /></div>
<br />
<br />
I started by ink blending be my cardstock with mustard seed, spiced marmalade and worn lipstick then I spritzed my panel. After that was dried I liberally spritzed Tim's- Ray stencil and placed it down on the panel with a paper towel covering it, then I removed the stencil and picked up the excess water once again I dried the panel. I then added Tim's Tree line thinlet's die cut to the bottom and stamped the sentiment from curious possibilities.</div>
Thanks so much for popping in for a peek and have a lovely inky evening.<br />

This card was inspired by what Jennifer McGuire taught us on day one of the class yesterday.<br />
<div>
<img border="0" class="bloggoimg" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEif0Z_fBfmYv35_vwcFj7aZXyx80ISiZxMiWKQoc-1CCKVQNB8UTOmpY97awWnAdmWfkbJAoyYfUxbz0Za4STQ1zcQ77JXgrEY7Yii6pYo0vEO63QEkwJhDxyc6OoGMMVvyQvtdh6xoiFA/I/photo_671384.jpg" /></div>
<br />
<br />
I had a blast making this it uses a trio of Martha Stewart glitters as well as Stampendous Halo Glitter. The sentiment is "Lovely" by Julie Essentials by Ellen set, the cover plate is by the Ton- the Geometric Lattice Cover plate. The floral stamp is Altenew Vintage Roses, the leaves are a Spellbinder's die.<br />

<div>
So here's my card I did up the background in twisted citron Distress ink and inlaid the die pieces after coloring with some zig markers on Bristol smooth cardstock, then topped it with Wink of Stella((too bad glitter doesn't show as purdy Pics as IRL). </div>

When my sister-n-law and I went shopping for things she could get DD for a present this year one of the things she had thought of previously was the easy bake oven,so I told her I thought it would be a great choice this year. So knowing that she was getting that I thought about the one sad thing about easy bake ovens....the come with two sets of mixes and the refills besides being expensive are hard to find this time of the year we found. This was my solution to that little problem!<div>Easy bake sized cake mixes...about 64 of them! </div><div><div><img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-DpzTUHgqRVg/WGBTdxvez6I/AAAAAAAADIE/fHkugTspTus/I/photo_257254.jpg" border="0" class="bloggoimg"></div><div>And then surfing the net I found a lot of recipes, there were two sets over at and so I added some in...she had great printable so but my stupid printer decided to not print black. Otherwise </div><div><div><img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-b3Re7_tglgU/WGBTeM7pUtI/AAAAAAAADII/l7-NHNrriJI/I/photo_768089.jpg" border="0" class="bloggoimg"></div><div>I also started collecting small tools of the trade for her like this</div><div><div><img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-omL46uunZYU/WGBTeKy18OI/AAAAAAAADIM/2XQoLswYrIY/I/photo_198644.jpg" border="0" class="bloggoimg"></div><div>I altered the oven mitts and have to take up the ends a bit ,but that' okay. <br /></div>
I don't know about you but I am crazy for an interactive project of any kind. I mean shaker cards are so FABULOUS and then when I saw the water shaker card...I was OVER the moon! So much fun!! Then I saw my first Chibitronic card oh how much fun are they??? Well, sometimes less is more right...sure but sometimes....MORE IS MORE!!
So I figured I would have to combine the two and make a Light up, Water Shaker card!! and here it is!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1SAcJ8l1knmYhFyi9iU4qFTtHzTsiUtpH8WEKcGphIxDuIwRhYccjqnnoEz_ilz9xOt0NUDGIh-6Fawq_f6xBVdVnVLtPvDe43EDuuaRtDh4ACwrNRHy0YmlDNdW1GLdeCCILNpGamzE/s1600/IMG_1623.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1SAcJ8l1knmYhFyi9iU4qFTtHzTsiUtpH8WEKcGphIxDuIwRhYccjqnnoEz_ilz9xOt0NUDGIh-6Fawq_f6xBVdVnVLtPvDe43EDuuaRtDh4ACwrNRHy0YmlDNdW1GLdeCCILNpGamzE/s320/IMG_1623.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Oh but what fun is that I ask you? How about a better look?? Yeah that would be better! so here she is- the Light up Water Shaker card in action!<br />
