I'm all over the place here...will be adding the other days in future posts.
Here was the last technique tag for day ten, you can't see all the wonderful bling it has...no matter how many pics I took it just didn't work out. Ah well...trust me, it's all shiny!

Creative Chemistry with Tim Holtz Day 3
Okay so this class is too fab! I'll admit I wanted to take it purely for the inspiration I KNEW I would get from Tim. Didn't know how many new things I might learn being a loyal follower of his and having tried most of his cool techniques but I am learning something new EVERY day! FUN, FUN, FUN!!
Now I am sorry that I cannot tell you any of the secrets...I am sworn to secrecy but you can take the class too! you can sign up here... http://www.onlinecardclasses.com/timholtz/
Here is the first tag we tackled today.
I didn't have the Ranger ink I needed...
however Tim was such a fabulous teacher that I managed to find a Hero Arts substitute...but I'll be getting the Ranger inks I hope!
and now for the final tag. Again I didn't not have (but will be getting hopefully) the Tim Texture fade for this tag but I wiggled by using a Cuttlebug folder.
The main thing I wanted for now was to get my techniques down and be able to document them on my tags. YAY for improvisation! LOL

Tim's 12 tags of 2012!- March and using it on a a LO
Another fabulous tag of fun from Tim!! His tag for March
So to start off...I didn't have the woodgrain stamp, so I inked my tag in various colors, then I stamped Tim's flourish stamp with Picket Fence stain...Love that stuff!
I wanted to use my tag...so I used the "Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass but learning to dance in the rain." stamp. I actually had a picture I had taken and this was the exact quote I wanted to use before I even got the stamps!! I stamped that on the tag in Festive berries and then took my Prisma colored pencils to color in the holes in the letters and the open spots in the font, then I added some shadowing to the letters with a fine tipped marker. For my mosaic piece I didn't have the butterfly die so I hand cut a cloud out of grunge and then for my embossing since I didn't have cement I used Enamelware on it. Glossy accented the mosaic pieces. I love the Tim flowers and I used Tammy Tutturow's technique on them! I also added rain drops and glossy accented them. For the Crumpled ribbon I used Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade and Barn door stains. So here is the final tag.
(Sorry for all the extra area around the tag...I tried to Photoshop it and it changed the size of the tag.) Remember you can click on the image to get it bigger!
So then as I said I wanted to use my tag on a page so here's the page, using a scrapbook Generation sketch.
and a close up of the corner embellie...using Tim's Ticket and a rolled rose (MFT) on a Spellbinders scalloped circle.
TFL!!
