One Stamp five ways

In the Holiday Style Online card class we had a class using one stamp set five ways and I am using the Tim HoltzScribbly Christmas stamp set but I gave myself the additional challenge of using just one of the tree stamps and her are my results. Sorry for the poor lighting but I wanted to share these before the gallery closes. First is my clean and simple card.
Next up, Classy and Elegant
Then my take on cute and whimsical
This is my Shimmer and shine card, it's hard to see but there is a sparkle irredecense embossing powder.
And my last card is soft and Subtle, it is stamped in a silver pigment ink and covered in wink of Stella, it didn't photograph very well but it's purdy in real life.

I had a blast in class and I have a bunch more holiday stuff to share in the near future. Thanks for popping in for a peek!

Holiday Style card class

So I am in the newest Online Card Class for Cardmakers class, it is such a great way to get into the holiday cardmaking spirit! here are the cards I have gotten done so far, all coloring is done with Chameleon markers...First up is a few little whimsical and cute cards using Lawn Fawn
It uses stamps from Baaah Humbug and Tobaggan Together, The patterned paper is fromBokeh in the Snow. Dies are stitched Rectangles and Stitched Oval dies.
Next up
Again the PPs are Lawn Fawn's Bokeh in the Snow, and the stitched oval dies, stitched rectangles and stitched hillside sides and  Tobaggan Together stamp set.
The next two cards are layer cards which use multiple sets and PLENTY of masking. The stamps used were Tobaggan Together, Baaah Humbug, Merry Christmouse, and Winter Scripty Sayings.

Oh and I would like to give credit to my little gal on this one! We were brainstorming and she came up with the lights being the string idea...and DUH! I just realized I forgot to color the horns on these!! I'm on it! :D
Last up is one I did for the Classic and Elegant using the Scribbly Christmas Stamp Set from Tim Holtz, also the Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle dies.

There will be more to come, I just thought I would post these so I didn't get too pic heavy,

Another tag for 25 Days of Christmas Tags Event

As soon as I saw Shari Carroll's Tim inspired tag, that she did for Tracey McNeely's 25 days of Christmas Tags... I had to get in and play too! This is my Tag inspired by Shari's tag, that I am entering into the challengeI didn't have all the Tim papers but still she has totally inspired me, I hope you can tell! I had so much fun making it!

Three tags and a card.

Yes, today I got some Christmas tags done. There is a 25 days of Christmas tags challenge over at Tracey McNeely's blog- In my Creative Opinion. This is a great way to get me a big ole' bunch of tags done for the upcoming season! Perhaps you will join in too?!! Come on...why not be ahead of the game??! So here's my tags for the Challenge I was inspired by all of the Christmas tags and the excitement of getting a jump on!
I also did this card up for my little gal. She gets all worked up with the weekly spelling tests (she's a bit of a perfectionist!) and I just like her to know that even if she gets less than 100% she is still fabulous and loved like CRAZY! :D Here's a video I did on instagram of the card, since it's interactive.
This one I am entering in Jennifer McGuire's Share Handmade Kindness Challenge...if you haven't heard of it you NEED to hop over via the link and get into the Sharing yourself!

And a still shot

Dies include the stitched rectangles, forest borderthe stitched hillsides and the large stitched ovals sets. As always I had a blast making them! Thanks for stopping in to peek!

Have a Merry Christmouse...and a Hammy New Year

I had fun doing up this card with Lawn Fawn's exclusive Simon says Stamp's Stamptember stamp set, Merry Christmousebset as well as Lawn Fawn's Cozy Christmas and a sentiment from the Toboggan Together set.
Making the mice into Hamsters was my Daughter's idea right from the get go, so I did up a full set of the mice as Hamsters for the both of us masking off all of the tails. Then this card idea sentiment came to me. So I guess I'll ou could say my Dd's pet Hammer inspired the whole thing. Thanks for looking!

My last My Favorite Things post for today

I make you no promises about tomorrow though!
So this card uses the Jingle All the Way stamp set again as well as the circle Stax Dienamics. I coloured in my images with Chameleons and I had a ton of fun with the multi masks!

The surprise to the card is the action wobbler!

Thanks for taking the time to pop in for a peek!

Another My Favorite Card to share

This is another card I am entering into the My Favorite Things You Could Be A Card Design Superstar card contest I stamped off a rough draft so I could figure out the die of panels I would need and the I designed the custom comic strip  frame in my Silhouette Cameo and then cut it out.
Then I started by stamping out with the My Favorite Things Jingle All the Way stamp set, in case you can't tell I love masking! I then coloured in my little comic strip card with a mix of mediums which included distress inks, chameleon pens, dove blender. I wanted it to have a loose background to mimic comics except for the final story panel which I wanted to stand out like a "ta-da"!!! ( I wish the wink of Stella showed but you know how that is)
I had a total blast designing this card and I hope you like it too!

Thanks for popping by for a peek!

a Quick little card share this morning

I made this little shaker for My Favorite Things- You Could be a Card Design Superstar card contest.
I think I have a snowball's chance given all the uber talented gals out there who are entering but I'll give it a shot. So this is my first entry-
I gave you two pics so you could see the little she'll I hid on the bottom.
Have a lovely day all! This card used the Sea Life MFT stamp set and I designed the fishbowl in my Silhouette Cameo.

Simon Says Stamp Stamptember Tim Holtz Exclusive Stamps 2015

Have you seen them?! Are you as excited about them as I am??! LOL Oh no your not! LOL
I LOVE them I love the size of the exclusive sets so in celebration of them I busted out the SImon Says Stamp Stamtember Tim Holtz exclusive set from 2014 and created a few cards for their challenge.
These are my cards I made I just love this set too to me perhaps the best part is the sentiments Tim picked for them.
First up is a tag, I had to use the new Blueprint Sketch and Ground Expesso spray stains just for the fun of it.
Next up
Ooo I couldn't help colouring the ice cream in with cracked pistachio. The background is Tim's wallpaper stamp with a rainbow of distress colours added to it.
Last but not least is this card, my background is the flourish Stencil with texture paste and the yummy Hickory Smoke inks over top...whoa I love that ink! (Okay, so I love them ALL-it's not like I'm alone in that!
Okay tell me that ground espresso wasn't a perfect match for that beautiful stamp!  LOVE it! So much fun I may just make more!
Thank you Tim and Simon Says Stamp for these fun stamps! Love the Exclusives!!

had a little fun today

Kind of a personal challenge, I've been calling left-overs.
You see when I create I usually will end up doing extras, trying out a technique using one set of colours, then I might try again in another color combo, or when I get a new Lawn Fawn set (or any stamps really I just use them as an example because they have so many stamps in their sets) I usually stamp off a bunch of stuff and try different colours or looks, and just sit and color (so does my DD) Perhaps I might do a piece with a frame..I keep the inside of the die cut. It might even be that I try out a fancy fold card just for fun...well I have a little box on my desk and I just stick the larger pieces I don't use in there and I have a couple of boxes and small buckets that I keep extra stamped bits in. Well today I took some of the "left-overs" out and made seven quick little cards in the afternoon between running out to the water park and making dinner and so here they are.

The background was water coloured with distress inks a while back and I had a few Ellie's stamped and die cut out just for this card idea.
The Lawn Fawn Let's BBQ stamps I coloured a couple weeks back trying out some chameleon markers. The vellum circle was leftover from my Online card class and the real leftover was the background using Hero Art's five lines Background stamp.
I long while ago I coloured these Lawn Fawn images from the on the Mend set, the heart piece was a scrap in my scraps file I just trimmed the punched piece to size and I had this background from the centre of another card I had cut a frame from and I also had a 4 bar card leftover from a class so I just added the panel and trimmed off a wee bit from the four bar.
Okay this one I had started but I had die cut the Simon Says Birthday Circle die out of pink and it didn't stand out enough and I moved on with a different idea and these got forgotten in my die box. I really like the Pebbles Lakeshore paper!
These two cards were made with some femme frames from Mama Elephant I had Cut a bunch of. The background made from distress inks and a the crafter's Workshop mini Flwer stencil, if I ran remember that far back...I believe the background was too similar to the rest of the pieces of my card. I got two card from cutting a frame from one and adding in the black panel and then die cutting the Simon Says Stamp Sending die out both the stencilled and the black centre panels and in laying it into the opposite piece, I then finished stamping the rest of the sentiment with the co-ordinating Sending and Wishing stamp set.
And the last card of the day was this one
The card base was made just trying out stamping the background with Mama Elephant's boutique Borders Stamp set. The flowers are from one of my very favourite sets Altenew's Vintage Roses...I Always stamp them in several colours and arrangements so I can pick and choose so I always have a nice little pile of these on hand then I just stamped the Simon Says Stamp Big Scripty Greeting die because it was handy...and I LOVE it!
I had so much fun I'm sure I'll be having more fun with more left-overs again soon!
So now let me ask...do you keep your  left-overs?

Here's to Fintastic Friends!

I do love me some Lawn Fawn, they are such fun designs. I also love me some Tim Holtz distress,so when I use distress inks to color Lawn Fawn Stamps...well then I'm having myself a party!
I had a blast making this multi-mask card (forgot to mention that I also LOVE masking!)
Oh and another thing I love is a good surprise!
And how about a little bit more fun? How about we throw just a little PTI in for the fun of it,and shake things up a bit?

Whee! Now that was fun!
Hope you have a great day :D
