Sneaking in my July 2013 Tim tag just under the wire....
it all started off gang butstas...I had this done on the first or second of July
LOVED it! but then I went to the crackle grunge butterfly I wanted to use, but the color didn't really seem to go, even though it is one of my favorite combos. So then I crackled another butterfly in purple thinking that might go better, eh...not loving that either, so then I did up another tag in different colors, without butterflies I though using a complimentary color might work so I did an orange yellow for my butterfly and forced myself to finish this morning.
So here is my end result
I wonder if Tim ever has a tag that he goes "I don't know...I'm not feeling it!"

Celebrate! Celebrate! (did you just sing?) LOL
I have a couple of cards to share with you today I decided to play over at the Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge blog- you can check it out here if you would like to be challenged -http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge/58/.
This challenge was CELEBRATE so here is what I came up with
STILL playing with the Birthday blueprint stamps STILL loving them, STILL have ideas coming to me-that's probably why I love them.
First I have a 5.25" squared card which I stamped the party hat first, then I masked it off and stamped the balloon then I colored the whole deal with Distress markers, then inked and used the water brush to spread it around. I then I did another layer on the hat popping up the blue stripes then stickled them. Then I curled some twine and glued that onto my balloon.
And some details.
Next up I did a 3.5" square card...why such a weird sized cards you ask? WHY NOT! I just got the WRMKs envelope punch board-so the weirder the better I say! LOL Bring it on... (Love it! I Knew I would!! ) I stamped the cupcake but didn't ink up the candle then I colored it (again with distress markers), inked the edges and spread them again with the wide waterbrush. Then I added a gemstone, drew in a cherry stem and added a leaf from the seasonal flower garland which I colored with the Distress markers as well.
Oh yes and both cards were stamped with sentiments from Tim Holtz's Stampers Anonymous Simple Sayings stamp set.
And so there you have it! Thank you Simon says Stamp for your Monday Challenge...and a GREAT excuse for using my Birthday blueprint stamps again!!

Ha Ha! A second post today!
I just finished this card tonight. It uses a technique taught by Claudine Hellmuth@ Big Picture Classes in her Technique Toolbox class (which I am totally enjoying!) and so here's a card I made using her technique.
A few things to share that I just got done!

Stick a pin in it! I'm done :D
So the Simon Says Stamp blog was having a challenge "Pin it" and right away I thought hat pin and when I think hat pin I think Mad hatter and this is what I came up with a mini mad hatter hat.
and a closeup
I apologize for the poor pictures but it's late-DD wanted to go see Despicable 2, which was a great way to spend a hot afternoon!
You can find a template for the hats here here
You should pop over to the Simon says Stamp Blog here. http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/blog/pin-away-the-day/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+blogspot%2FzvpCX+%28Simon+Says+Stamp+Blog!%29
I would say to join this challenge but I am coming in under the wire on this one but they have 2 challenges a week so check them out.
I used Grunge board and grunge paper and embossed with one of Tim's Texture fades inked with Distress ink...of course! :D I made the one pin with the green head on it and little yellow bicycle made the cork heart which is perfect for Mad hatter I thought!
Thanks to SSS for a great challenge!!

A quick little LO to share.
I am trying to catch up a bit on spots in my albums. This LO uses Distress inks to stamp Hero Arts and Technique Tuesday stamps out. and Distress picket fence and gathered twigs to stamp Tim's woodgrain stamp on the Memorybox window frame. The Rolled felt flowers are spellbinders and the other flowers are various silk and paper flowers I had in my stash.
TFL!! :D

New LOs to share.
I totally forgot to post the first one- and the second one I was going to post the day after I posted my Tim tag and got totally busy with the events of summer :D
So these are both based on the Free June sketch from Scrapbook Generation
The first version of the sketch I turned the sketch and left off the banner vertical pieces and made it two pictures instead of three.
the second version I stuck pretty much to the sketch
While I am at it...I made this card today as well, apparently I still love Tim's June tag techniques :D
For some reason all the colors are off, the small long strip of pp on the left is actually a green and so is the stamp around the thank you. Anyhoo here it is.
