Doing it Holtz style....again! A LO and another tag.
Happy Valentines Day! A couple things to share first up I have a LO. I made the paper with Various inks, and stains and distress markers to stamp the Background paper. Some of the stamp sets used were- Adverts CMS 101, Boundless flight, wallpaper and wood CMS126,Multi media CMS125,Artful flight CMS069, Life's possibilities. I also cut some wordplay numbers out of foam and stamped with them.
I cut a Kerri Bradford file and inked that with Distress. The picture is taken on Dumbo the Flying elephant- I love that natural smile. This is also why the feather is on the LO.
Hope you like it!
Next up is a tag (LOL a card) for my DH for Valentines day. First I used a crafter's workshop template and some molding paste for the background and then inked it with distress inks.
I stained a piece of watercolor paper with picked raspberries stain and then stamped the mini blueprints stamp (CMS 146) in black Archival ink and then added glossy accents and cut out the 14 from it. I then stamped on the corner of the tag with the archival and added the 14 with glossy accents. (sorry...I thought the epoxy look of the 14 would show but it doesn't...it looks so slick IRL! Take my word for it!)I took a piece of specialty stamping paper and colored the Love struck (CMS 082) stamp with distress markers and in spots added stains to my markers also. Of course I felt it needed a flower and so I took Tim's tattered Flower Garland die and cut some of them out of water color, because I was lazy I just wet the paper and added the picked raspberries stain to the flower and peeled paint stain for the leaves. Then I I distressed and inked a salvage sticker and added that- a piece of seam binding in picked raspberries and a piece of lace and there you have it!
I will have a bunch more of the mini blue print stamp tags to show you but I am sooo crushed for time right now with this move that it may be a little bit...or not...I seem to be even more addicted to Tim's stuff than I usually am...and that's a lot! :D
