Tim's tattered Florals
So Tim issued the challenge to show him your tattered floral creations. So even though I have been super busy...I just HAD to play! (Don't forget toplease click on any of the pictures to see them a little larger if you like)
So I start with a pile of watercolor paper and I die cut tattered florals flowers and I add my distress markers or stains...it always amazes me that my flowers start off like this
Let's start with a tag with some of the flowers created with those tattered florals die flowers.
I often hear people ask what do people do with their Tim tags when they create them??
and for me personally I like to try to include them in my LOs if I can...so here's a LO with said tag
and then a closeup of the tag
So there you have my watercolor version of Tim's tattered florals.
And I will show you some that I made for my DD's hat a couple years back melting the petals with a candle and a heat gun and using material. It was a cute hat...but it lacked some girly pink and something more frilly was needed I thought. I'm not going to put this in on Tim's challenge because as I said I did them a couple years back (the pic is recent LOL)Oh and a little tip is that I used the large flowers and the centers are actually the daisy looking ones (for those I used a heat gun- it was easier) I tried the smaller flowers and the daisy just made the cutest center...go figure! :D
and hopefully you can see the flowers a little better here.
I have more to show soon...I have made another tag but I also would like to try to pull a LO together with it- hopefully I'll catch you tomorrow with that...if not I'll post some of the fun I've been having with the blueprint stamps for fun! :D As always...Thanks for Looking! :D

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning flowers. I love how you have coloured them and using the tag on a LO is a wonderful idea. I am a big fan of tag art and your tag is art - love it.
