I'mmmmm Back!
I had a lovely vacation in California and then I have been running around with a little gal doing fun stuff like our waterpark, other waterparks, and the waterslides! Wheeee! I love summertime.
So let me start by sharing a card I did up before I left
A little Lawn Fawn' Life is good set, Winnie and Walter The Big the Bold and the Extras, and the Big the Bold and the Fun.. done with Tim Holtz/Ranger Distress markers, Mama Elephant for the Femme frames - totally fun! I may be playing with this set for a long while yet!
Okay so I just started the Online Card Class Stretch your Stamps class. So without further ado I will share the cards I whipped up on Days one and two.
So on day one Kristina taught this cute little number called Multi-layered emboss resist and these are my cards for the technique.
The next one I got done was a beautiful card that Shari got done using a technique called faux watercolor. It was so beautiful that aside from not having the die she did (I used a Winnie and Walter stamp and fussy cut my sentiment out)
and choosing different colors I stuck pretty much to her plan. :D
And then for the last card I got done that day ...was one that Lisa Spangler taught called Mist resist and this is my verstion...again I didn't have all of the products she had but I think I did okay all the same ;D
Day 2
I got a Ombre card done I just LOVE the colors I chose (Salty Ocean Peacock feathers and Broken China. I found the sequins in the dollar store and you know what? I LOVE them!! (no big surprise, if you know me, you know I love blues
Next cards I completed were inspired by the fabulously talented Jennifer McGuire! This is my card using her technique she actually taught two parts and I did both but I only have a card from the first have done so far.
Last but not least was Acrylic paint resist from Joy Taylor and I did up two cards using my technique piece and here they are...
and this one
And that is all that I have so far. Today is actually day four but ....I have a little gal home with me on vacation and at her age she wants an adventure EVERYday :D and I love having her home with me so I take my playtime when I can get it. Hope to have a bit more for you in the next day or two. :D
Thanks for popping in for a peek...now what are you waiting for? GO get inky! :D you know you wanna! :D
