Guess I can't stop at just one!

Tim type Tags that is...I needed another tag for my little girl (didn't want her to feel left out...not on a day such as this!) so I put together this simple one for her You know the dealio...all Tim related products (Ranger, sizzix etc) all but the button and the vintage bias tape (did with his stains though!)

Doing it Holtz style....again! A LO and another tag.

Happy Valentines Day! A couple things to share first up I have a LO. I made the paper with Various inks, and stains and distress markers to stamp the Background paper. Some of the stamp sets used were- Adverts CMS 101, Boundless flight, wallpaper and wood CMS126,Multi media CMS125,Artful flight CMS069, Life's possibilities. I also cut some wordplay numbers out of foam and stamped with them. I cut a Kerri Bradford file and inked that with Distress. The picture is taken on Dumbo the Flying elephant- I love that natural smile. This is also why the feather is on the LO. Hope you like it! Next up is a tag (LOL a card) for my DH for Valentines day. First I used a crafter's workshop template and some molding paste for the background and then inked it with distress inks. I stained a piece of watercolor paper with picked raspberries stain and then stamped the mini blueprints stamp (CMS 146) in black Archival ink and then added glossy accents and cut out the 14 from it. I then stamped on the corner of the tag with the archival and added the 14 with glossy accents. (sorry...I thought the epoxy look of the 14 would show but it doesn't...it looks so slick IRL! Take my word for it!)I took a piece of specialty stamping paper and colored the Love struck (CMS 082) stamp with distress markers and in spots added stains to my markers also. Of course I felt it needed a flower and so I took Tim's tattered Flower Garland die and cut some of them out of water color, because I was lazy I just wet the paper and added the picked raspberries stain to the flower and peeled paint stain for the leaves. Then I I distressed and inked a salvage sticker and added that- a piece of seam binding in picked raspberries and a piece of lace and there you have it! I will have a bunch more of the mini blue print stamp tags to show you but I am sooo crushed for time right now with this move that it may be a little bit...or not...I seem to be even more addicted to Tim's stuff than I usually am...and that's a lot! :D

Tim's 12 tags of 2013- having a LITTLE fun!

I'm playing along with Tim's 12 tags of 2013 still...I managed JUST enough time to get this done! (We're moving...but hey a girl needs to play too right?!) Here's Tim's version
UGH! I cannot get Tim's picture to come in whole on my blog, I have tried resizing and everyting...please click on the picture to see the full size version. and here's my version
The differences....I didn't have Tim's Seasonal Core'dinations paper but I did have core'dinations so I used a pink on pink and embossed it myself. For my stains I used barn door and Picked Raspberries- I was trying to get a light enough red that the hot pink would show but not so much as I thought it might. Now the BIG difference if you haven't caught it yet it that Tim is using a Number 8 tag and I used a 2"X3.5" tag and the mini version of the Blueprint stamp! it was a challenge and I just love that it's mini! Because of that I used a type charm in the same fashion as Tim used the Cash Keys. I also used Tissue tape but I once doing the folding I cut it in half so it would be more in scale with the large version that Tim did.
