I am in a super hurry so please excuse me if I forget to mention something. First I have a card set which uses a Basic Grey/Hero Arts Spice Market stamp, the sentiment is Tim Holtz Simple sayings and I used a TON of Distress marker coloring on them :D then I have two more cards using the My Favorite things wildflowers stencil, Avery Elle Bottle it up for the vase, and the Big the Bold and YOU stamp set for the sentiment. I am putting these in the Winnie and Walter join in to win challenge found here http://www.blog.winniewalter.com/p/join-in-and-win.html

Here I am getting in just under the wire again on the Twelve tags of 2014 I got a weird virus this month that slowed me right down and then I was stuck as I didn't think I had any of the crinkle ribbon left. Upon a good inspection I found one piece just long enough to finish this off! I didn't have any of the fabulous frameworks dies, I wish I had because I would have loved to use a thicker medium, but since I didn't I used a hexi die I had and then cut it into an interesting shape, because the die would not cut the heavier materials like the alterations die does I had to hand cut the mirrored sheet. I also didn't have the philosophy tags or the wire pin. What to do? What to do?? Well, I thought I would like to be able to use this tag, my daughter just loves to use the saying BEST DAY EVER! and so I cut those words from the Life quotes remnant rubs. I also don't have the pinecone die and so I cut my flowers from the tattered flower garland die out of the Paper stash-French industrial Paperie. I do love this tag. As far as the background as always I like to stick with Tim's color selections because I like to experiment with colors I may not naturally gravitate to myself and he is the Master after all turns out....I LOVED this combo (as I always seem to, with his choices!) I don't know why but one of the rubs keeps picking up a reflection...you can't actually see it IRL but you can in the pic...let me just say...LOVE his remnant rubs!! They are Awesome! Okay so here's my version of Tim's tag.

Yay for inky playtime! I managed to squeeze some time in to play today in between DD and I spending time doing her crafts and walks etc. I came up with a step card using Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous The Chemist for the Inspiration Emporium Challenge-"A few Of my Favorite Things" Distress markers, Tim Holtz /SA stamps, a fun shaped card....Oh yeah, these are a few of my favorite things! You can find the challenge here in case my link doesn't work http://blog.inspirationemporium.com/?p=2192 I also used a piece from his Idea-ology Ephemera pack- Thrift Shop and Tissue tape- Laboratorie and the woodgrain stamp from the Wallpaper and Wood set I had fun making this...I just had to change the size of the left side to accommodate the ephemera. I think this will make a great "masculine" card! Thanks for popping in for a peek and now GO!....get inky!

First up are a couple of bright and colorful cards, with everyone craving a good dose of spring I was needing some color! These are using a Studio Calico Kelly Purkey die- it's adorable! Next up I have a Watercolor piece, which uses My Favorite Things Wildflower stencil, Avery Elle-Bottle it up, and Winnie and Walter's the Big the Bold and YOU. It was inspired by a piece Nichol Magouirk did and I totally fell in love with. Next I have a card that is full of Yummy Tim stuff! It uses his Latticework layered stencil The butterfly is from the Tim Holtz Ephemera-Thrift Store package. I made the flowers with his Sizzix sizzlits Decorative strip die Tattered flower Garland I used the Simple Sayings Stamp set And of course a ton of Distress inks, and Distress markers as well. I am also entering this one into the Challenge over at Inspiration Emporium- "A few of My Favorite things" which you can find here http://blog.inspirationemporium.com/?p=2192 because after all, anyone who knows me knows anything Tim related is definitely in my favorite things category! and here's another card for the "A few of my Favorite things" challenge at the Inspiration Emporium found here http://blog.inspirationemporium.com/?p=2192 :D This one is inspired by Tim's tag. I didn't have all the stuff he called for this month but I'm working it out anyway. I used his Sizzix sizzlits Decorative strip die Tattered flower Garland die on this one as well. I also used the Simple sayings Stamp set and his tissue tape as well as Distress inks and Distress paints in iced spruce and pumice stone. It also uses some of his French Industrial Paperie and his Idea-ology mirrored I hope to be adding more to my blog this week and then in the beginning of May I have a couple of classes I will be doing so you are bound to get a bunch of posts coming up in the near future!! TFL! and go get inky!
