totally inspired!

The minute I saw Kelly's Mondo Hydrangea in the classroom for the Winnie and Walter's Share the love Week, I just knew I HAD to make my own version!

It features the Mondo Hydrangea from Essentials by Ellen, and the sentiment is from Winnie and Walter's This Awesome House set. I had a blast making this and I'm entering it in the Winnie and Walter's Share the love Floral challenge.
Thanks for popping in to peek! Say what is YOUR favourite color of hydrangea? I have to say I love them all!

Waving Hello

When Lawnscaping put up the new Distress Maniacs # 132 challenge I HAD to jump in! You KNOW how I love my distress, and my Lawn Fawn so a challenge with both things? I'm in Baby! So here is what I did up...I had this in my mind for the Mermaid for you so it was time to jump in and get inky

My card uses blended distress inks of tumbled glass, Broken China, peacock feathers and of COURSE Mermaid Lagoon. All of the stamps were stamped in distress inks or coloured in with distress markers. The stamps and dies used were the Mermaid for you, and Life is Good sets and the stitched circle dies.
I then added a little Wink of Stella, some Pretty Pink posh, clear droplets and sequins.
Thanks for popping in for a peek...I wish you all inky fingers!

I wheelie love ya!

I made this card for my little's tradition for me to send her a little card of love on Fridays. I am making this for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog "Animal Magic challenge" My DD has two Robo Hamsters and the family has a cat (no worries she's banned from DD's  room)
Anyhow... You're probably here for the card!
Okay so have a great day and I hope you make time to get inky!

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Today I created a card for Lawnscaping Challenges #131 off kilter.
I had a super fun time making it and got to use Lawn Fawn's new Flamingo Together stamps and dies as well as trying out my new Zig clean Color real brush markers! So it was lots of fun and firsts for me today. Without further ado.... This is the outside of the my world anything that isn't perfectly symmetrical is a little off kilter LOL and my little trees definitely aren't straight :D so here it is!
And the inside...when I decide what all to say inside I may just add a couple more embellishments.
Hope you are having a crafty Little day! Thanks for stopping by!

Distress the beginning

I just had to include a distress entry for class of distress-how we originally did it. Before Tim taught wrinkle free distress he taught a definite wrinkle distress ... I just had to include it...yeah...I'm kick in' it old school.

Creative Chemistry 101 with Tim Holtz over at online card classes...refresher

I say refresher since I had taken this but when it was opened again as a refresher and opened the forums and gallery to anyone who had not taken it (in preparation for the brand newCreative Chemistry 103 coming in August) well I just had to play along! This weeks homework was to play with distress ... I'm in!
So my tag uses some of the newer colours as well as vintage photo because... Well it's vintage photo!
Colours used were- squeezed lemonade, peacock feathers, twisted citron, abandoned coral, and cracked pistachio...and then edged in vintage photo and the lovely ground Expesso to top it all off.The Stamps are of course Tim's Crazy Birds stamps! This will read Celebrate- you Dad! but I didn't want to spoil any surprises. I hope to see you in class!
