How about one more tonight?

I have another card made with Winnie and Walter's fabulous The Big the Bold and the Happy Stamp set I have another one also but I need some light to get a decent picture so I'll try to post it tomorrow morning :D

And Another LOL

Still have Tim's challenge and the Inspiration Emporium "Show it with Words" challenge. This one isn't a full on Tim one so I am only sharing it with Inspiration Emporium. I did a bunch of stamping from the Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous set -"Good Thoughts" stamp set because... I love every quote on this set but I wasn't sure which ones I could use the Tim's chalkboard technique on and I was really enjoying it! The stamp I used I have used before, I loved it before it was a stamp!! I also used Tim's Latticework Layering Stencil So here's my card for today (I'm on a daily roll so I can say that! LOL) I really have to Thank the crew over at inspiration emporium for such a great challenge, I mean this one isn't even over yet and I'm looking forward to the next one!! Thanks so much for popping in for a peek! Have an inky day!

Show it with Words again!

I have another piece for the Inspiration Emporium Show it with words Challenge. This often happens to me, I get a challenge stuck in my head and while I am working it pops up over and over LOL which is why I like to only know about a couple challenges max at a time. LOL On the good side it does inspire me to hit my desk as the ideas keep coming! So here's a card I did using one of my favorite Tim stamps, not only for the awesome quote but also for the awesome look of it, from Tim's/Stampers Anonymous "Good Thoughts" Set. The Really great thing about this quote is it works for a Birthday or a Congratulations or ? Well a number of great occasions! Thanks for popping in for a peek!

Tim's 12 tags of 2014 February tag

It's that time again. Time for me to post my tag for Tim's 12 tags of 2014 for February
First off I did a tag that followed Tim's colors the best I could, I had to replace the purple he used with Shaded Lilac....but for some reason, I just wasn't feeling the colors (:( Sorry Tim, I tried but it was just too dark) But I did it and I'll post it anyway.I didn't have that GORGEOUS stamp set of his so I used what I did have :D Here's my tag following Tim's example Then I decided to go my own way with it (and I may do more than one example but for now I have one more for you) I decided I wanted pink hearts but I knew if I did the BG first any colors I would pick would give me orange or purple hearts and so I switched up the order of things a bit. First I stenciled my hearts and I followed Tim's steps to do so using Spun sugar, and worn lipstick and then picked raspberries, just as he had done with the reds. Then I embossed. Next I did the first step and took broken China and Peacock feathers, and pewter stains and inked up my tag knowing that the hearts would now resist the stain. Since I wanted to turn my tag into a card I cut my tag down just a bit and then I embossed my CS with a technique that Tim taught at online card Classes in Creative Chemistry 102 and I embossed with Tim's Lattice Layered Stencil on the Tim Holtz/Range Distress Core dinations CS and then sanded it back with the block to reveal the lighter pink. I embossed my Black CS with the Ranger Antiquities Frosted Crystal embossing powder and chalked it and backed the piece in White CS and added the Industrious stickers, just as I had on the above tag, and the grunge heart with the Distress glitter (used festive berries on the tag and Picked Raspberries for the card) and this is what I had when I was done I'm glad I didn't just give up...I'm glad I finished the tag as Tim had taught and I'm glad I took it and owned it a bit and put my own spin on it...I really like my finished card! Thanks for having a peak if you did!! :D and Have an inky day!! :D

Show it with words!

I have another piece to show you for the Inspiration Emporium challenge "Show it with words". I came up with this Birthday card. I wanted to Show it with words that your stamp set can say MORE! The images are from the Tim Holtz/ Stampers Anonymous Birthday Blueprints set and all the words are from Tim's/SA "Simple Sayings" Thanks for popping in for a peek today! :D

Another Valentine's Day card.

I wanted to do something a little different for my DH for Valentines day. Something a little more masculine but something still a little lovey. I came up with wanting to use "The Chemist". Now there was a sentiment that popped in my head so using stamps I worked with it to get all the words I wanted ....I wanted to enter this into the Inspiration Emporium's "Say it with Words" challenge that was issued... so I didn't want something that just said Happy Valentine's Day....Yes those are words but hardly an original use of words, also the words were to have meaning. So all that being said here is the card I created. Thanks for popping in for a peek!! :D
