Camera aperture card

I had a request this morning for a tutorial on this card I did And so here it is! My first video tutorial I hope it helps someone out!! if you prefer to watch this video on you tube you can find the link here So in case you want it written out to refer to that is a 8.5" X 11" sheet which you will cut the length in half at 5.5" so now you take one of the 8.5" X 5.5" pieces and on the long side you will score at 2 1/8" and 6 3/8" (or you can spin the card 180 degrees and score again at 2 1/8"...your choice, same diff) That is your gate fold base. To cover with Patterned paper you will need 1 7/8" X 5.25" panels for the Front door panels inside and out. if you should want to cover the back of the card that will be 4"X 5.25" For the apertures you will take the second half of the cardstock you cut and you will cut the the 5.5" down to 4" and then cut two pieces from that that are 3.5" in other words you need (2) 4" X 3 1/2" You will also need a piece of another piece of CS and cut a panel that is 3" X 5.5" To cover that you will need a piece of PP that is 2 3/4" X 5 1/4" After adhering the patterned paper you will center a 2 1/2" circle on that middle panel and cut that out (see video for easy to do tips) you will also need to cut a 2 3/4" circle to stamp your message on if you want it stamped in white and not the color of the card. (Your circle has to fit in the aperature window and be smaller than the 3" wide center panel) and that is the dimensions of Cardstock and patterned papers you will require for this card. I hope you have fun making yours!
