#WCMD 2014 with Winnie and Walter
This is my final card for challenges for WCMD 2014. That makes four challenges in Three separate posts this one is for for Winnie and Walter's Pinspiration Challenge with Vanessa for this challenge I just saw a white ghost image in the wood grain and I thought FLOWER (big surprise?!) so here it is...it used the Big the Bold and the Extras stamp set as well as the Big the Bold and the Happy Sorry for the colors being so off, no daylight to post this!
#WCMD 2014 with Winnie & Walter
Hello!
I have two separate challenges in two posts to load for Winnie and Walter's WCMD. This is the first card...please forgive the lighting, we are getting dark rainy days and I took this with the aid of my desk lamp. The colors are spun sugar and a watered down mix of spun sugar and dried marigold to make a peach. I added the darker flower for contrast but I may make a spun sugar rose and replace it...we will see. So without further ado...this is for the Colour Combo with Gayatri Challenge
The black cardstock is just the Backdrop I was trying to get the colors to show as the pink is very muted at the top. The big the bold and You is the Winnie& Walter set I used.

#WCMD 2014
So did you play??? I had a grand time playing with some stuff! First a before of my desk
Winnie and Walter called for a "craftie" challenge- a shot of where you work and this is my space. I organized all my bits and bobs (all the boxes) LOL the best I could to get me some room to work!
When I got down to work here are my cards for the day....
First up a Lawn Fawn Cookies and Milk card, oh my...I just love this little set (okay so I love Lawn Fawn!) So much fun! I colored this with my Prisma pencil crayons Papers include a scrap piece of Kaisercraft I had and some older K&Company paper.
Next I have one that I did for Winnie and Walter and their On Trend with Lea challenge using camera themed products. I used the Winnie and Walter Scenary V for Chevron, Bubble talk and The Write Stuff Picture perfect set. First I stamped out my chevrons in Broken China and picked Raspberries Distress inks and then I cut the bottom of the card and added a clear acetate panel in behind it so that part of my sentiment inside would show when the card was closed. I paper pieced the camera from the MME Collectable 6X6 paper paad.
Next I have a card using the Simon says stamp Ice cream Dreams stamp set and Bo Bunny's Lemonade stand 6X6 paper pad. I colored the stamped images in with Prisma pencil crayons again.
Okay next up was an idea that I had rolling around my head. I wanted the Wings of Tim's layered butterfly to be on the front and back of my card. I had cut the card panel and then I had got side tracked and left it and found it when I was organizing and put it to the top of the "to do" pile. first the water color paper was cut using two cutting pads with a separation between them at the butterflies body center so that the wings were cut but the body wasn't. I then lined up the wings in the embossing folder with the card panel folded and embossed it I ink the BG in Mustard seed and spiced marmalade and watercolored in the butterfly with Chipped sapphire and peacock feathers distress inks. I further inked the BG with Tim's "Rays" layered stencil. I then stamped the panel with Tim's Adverts and mixed media stamps. sets and the sentiment from Simple Sayings and embossed it in Gold Ranger embossing powder. This is the outcome
Sorry for the lighting in the second picture, this morning I discovered I forgot to get a picture of the card open (duh!) so I didn't have the best lighting.
Next...I had a blast with the The Simon Says Stamp exclusive set that Tim made for Stamptember (Tim Holtz STAMPTEMBER exclusive Cling Stamps THSEPT14) I must say I LOVE this size!! Not too big, not too small...JUST RIGHT :D and I love the added sentiments! I stamped these on Neenah Solar CS, cut them out with my Cameo with the aid of the PixScan mat(LOVE!) and then colored them in with Prisma pencil crayons (all but the Sew special to me...that was done on Watercolor paper and colored in with distress markers and the watercolor brush and then spritzed with the Distress marker spritzer)
and here we have a set of 4 cards I created (of course I am not done yet....there will be MANY more I am sure!) but that was it for yesterday.
I didn't stamp the inside of this one yet but here it is ready for a quick sentiment inside and away it will go!
And now...I don't know if this will work or not....but I had this idea that Tim's phone should ring! And so I popped it up on an action wobbler, if this works you will get a video...if not...please be patient and I will attempt to add it in :D ETA Oh goodie it worked!! The wobble is much more impressive in person!! just ask my DD! :D

One super fast post!
I saw this post today -
http://cutscropscreativity.com/2014/09/coffee-lovers-bloghop-2/
on Cuts, Crops and Creativity on the Coffee Lover's blog hop and as soon as I did I thought...I have to participate, well actually I thought I HAVE GOT to make this card for my DH ...for some reason it has become a catch saying with him. The thing I love about the Lawn Fawn Alphas is they make it so easy to make up your own sentiment...and so I did just that and here's my card for my DH and I will enter it at the Crop :D I had fun playing along this morning. :D Hope you make time to get inky also.
Sentiment is Violet's ABCs from Lawn fawn and the background I created with the beans are from the Simply Iconic Stamp kit, Gathered Twigs Distress ink and then inking the cream paper with Vintage photo distress ink and embossing in Ranger Gold embossing powder the beans along side the Sentiment.
Hold the presses!! This kept mulling around in my brain while thinking of coffee....remember Bugs Bunny? of course you do! I used to love Witch Hazel and her flying bobbie pins! LOL well in one of the cartoons she was preparing a potion and she would sing this little ditty...
I think I already mentioned how much I love the versatility of the Alphas from Lawn Fawn! Well...I wasn't lyin'! I also used their Argyle Background a small heart stamp from Peace love joy and the coffee stamp from Simply Iconic stamp set.
and so I decided to make another card for my sweet hubby! Hope you like! :D and thanks for poppin' in! :D

Tim Holtz- Twelve tags of 2014- August
This month Tim wanted us to follow our own muse....but what I love about doing the 12 tags is things I discover through following Tim's lead...so I did both.
First following Tim's lead I came up with this tag (I must say I do love the Ranger Texture paste!)
and then some close ups for you, should you be interested.
(I got this close up before I added the key.)

Then I followed my muse a bit and came up with this card using the Tim Holtz Chevron embossing folter, the cracks and specks stamp set,and the Tim Holtz Layered butterfly. The butterfly is done in Spiced Marmalade, Gathered twigs and black soot distress inks and then covered in rock candy crackle paint. The sentiment is from the Simple saying stamp set.

Okay then I was not finished following my muse because after making that butterfly my muse carried on and created this next project for the Inspiration Emporium Everything goes Challenge
First I got myself a nice pile of butterflies cut and embossed
then I painted the butterflies this time using Tim Holtz distress re-inkers (in Barn Door, Spiced Marmalade, squeezed Lemonade, Mowed Lawn, Peacock feathers, faded Jeans, and Seedless preserves)I put some ink down on my craft mat,
and when you are done....
You will then start to add black to the butterflies
On the previous card I just inked the butterfly direct from the ink pad but for this project I really wanted a more solid dark line that did not go into my painted areas so I did this all by hand painting.
Then I painted my canvas board
Then I added some ink to the board and flicked some water about also.
Then you will forget to take pictures if you are like me LOL but you will stencil and stamp and add more ink and flick more water, and stamp more and grab your Tim Holtz Distress marker spritzer and spritz, then you will finally paint and then add a word band and this is what I had when I finished- a rainbow of butterflies

and then finally I will add in some closeups of the butterflies on the canvas.

I thank you for taking a peek if you did!
Have an inky day...or night :D

Let's make it Three for Thursday!
Oh it never rains but it pours eh? LOL
I am going to do a third post today because I know how Fridays can be and I may not get to post this until Monday.
So here are a few more cards from ONline Card Classes, still using the Floral stamps
I have two more outline stamps....why? Because I am having to much fun just being Free!
and the last card for today....I think LOL is a technique that Jennifer McGuire taught and her card was so pretty I just had to give it a whirl...yay! I got it done...darn I forgot the BG stamp but I don't really have a subtle BG stamp ah well...Cest la Vie!
okay so last but not least we have this card
The sentiment and the dark color on the leaves is gold glitter embossing but it didn't photograph well.
Okay, that's it. Have a great evening!
